Overview

The first week of July is marked by the August 05, Full Moon Eclipse in Aquarius at the fourteenth degree (13 AQ 43).   We should be finishing up this eclipse series of July and August with an inwardly focused directive having the potential to take us to an epitome of creative self-actualization.  Helping with this inward focus are Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius, along with Uranus in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn, all moving retrograde to bring introspective characteristics to the mind’s eye.  Mars in Gemini squares Saturn in Virgo, causing some difficulty where thinking or speaking about details would be concerned.   Saturn is opposing retrograde Uranus in Pisces, insisting on a pragmatic application of a new paradigm of belief.  Sun in Leo and Mercury in Virgo rule in their own signs, enhancing verbal creativity in structured thinking.

During the second week of August, Venus in Cancer sextiles Saturn and Mercury in Virgo.  This would be a good time to implement practical plans to beautify the home.  Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are breaking up from their recent close-encounter in Aquarius, but their retrograde focus on the ideals of healing the wounds of humanity remains in the celestial atmosphere.

The third week of July brings the New Moon in Leo at the 28th degree (27 LE 32).  The North Node of the Moon is now moving into the late degrees of Capricorn, trining Saturn and Mercury in Virgo.  Those detailed plans for practical renovations in work and health should be pragmactically feasible by now.  Seeds for creativity with a humanistic flair will flourish if planted at this time. 

The fourth week of August highlights practical spirituality rooted in the values of taking care of others as Venus in Cancer trines Uranus in Pisces.  Mercury in Libra is in a T-square with retrograde Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer.  It’s important to maintain fairness in allocating resources to those in need.

August 01: Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn at the second degree.  Tender feelings are best protected by a tough exterior. Avoid extremism.

August 02:  Mercury enters Virgo.  Thinking critically about details is favored.

August 03:  Mercury in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn at the second degree.  Detailed plans for material transformation are easily manifested.

August 05:  Sol in Leo opposes Luna in Aquarius at the 14th degree:  Full Moon Eclipse in Aquarius. The will to create is infused with humanitarian feelings for a new cycle of progress.

August 07: Mercury in Virgo sextiles Venus in Gemini at the seventh degree. Correctly stated ideas bring pleasure.

Week of August 09 to August 15

August 10:  Mars in Gemini squares Saturn in Virgo at the 21st degree.  Quarrels over details are in the air: self-restraint could be the best reply.

August 13:  Mars in Gemini trines retrograde Jupiter in Aquarius at the 23rd degree.  A review of scientific facts might reveal good tidings.

August 14:  Sun in Leo opposes retrograde Jupiter in Aquarius at the 23rd degree.  The will to create is best expressed with a return to an altruistic ethic.

Week of August 16 to August 22

August 17: Sun in Leo sextiles Mars in Gemini at the 25th degree. Creative writing projects are favored.

August 17:  Mercury conjuncts Saturn in Virgo at the 22nd degree.  Serious thinking takes form.

August 17:  Sun in Leo opposes retrograde Neptune in Aquarius at the 26th degree.  Leadership and creative self-expression are best when balanced with ideals based in improving the human condition.

August 17:  Mars in Gemini trines retrograde Neptune in Aquarius at the 26th degree.  This is a good time to speak or write about humanitarian ideals.

August 20:  Sol conjuncts Luna in Leo at the 28th degree:  New Moon in Leo.  At this time, plant seeds for creative self-expression, especially of the dramatic variety.

August 21:  Mercury in Virgo opposes retrograde Uranus in Pisces at the 26th degree.  Practical thinking must be balanced with a change in belief.

August 22:  Venus in Gemini sextiles retrograde Uranus in Pisces at the 25th degree.  Beautiful words open the door to spiritual change.

August 22:  Sun enters Virgo.  The will to work and to be healthy is intensified.

Week of August 23 to August 31

August 23:  Sun in Virgo trines retrograde Pluto in Capricorn at the first degree.  Pragmatic solutions to material restructuring of governmental and financial institutions can be worked out in detail.

August 25:  Mars enters Cancer.  This is a good time to expend energy at home, but try not to take emotional offense in petty matters.

August 25:  Mercury enters Libra.  Working out both sides of  the equation is in the air.

August 25:  Mercury in Libra squares Mars in Cancer.  Fairness and emotional defensiveness do not mix.

August 25:  Mercury in Libra squares retrograde Pluto in Capricorn at the first degree.   A balanced approach is blocked by a desire for material control.

August 26:  Venus enters Leo.  Flambuoyant showmanship inspires admiration.

August 26:  Mars in Cancer opposes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn at the first degree.  Beware of violent situations in which borders are zealously defended.

August 28:  Mercury in Libra sextiles Venus in Leo at the second degree.  Beautiful words open to door to a stylish self-presentation.
